1: Hello Jackstick, how are you today?

I'm good, thanks Jack.

2: Let's begin. How did you hear about RuneVillage?

Well, a few of my friends referred me to the website when I was having trouble with the Prince Ali Rescue quest. Tough one, I'll tell ya.

3: Interesting...how did you start up in RuneVillage?

As many people know, I had a rough start here at RuneVillage. In total, I got 6 warnings, and 3 unofficial warnings. Despite my attitude, I began to realize that RuneVillage was a pretty nice place, and I didn't feel like getting banned.

4: When did you begin to get "in the business?"

I met a good fella named Frogger. He and Mogomongoose were starting up a new project, the RuneVillage Toolkit. I got in there pretty early, so I was recognized. Soon after, Frogger asked if I would like to be an RVTK Support Staff member. I hardly had a chance, because I had three warnings at that time. But we managed, and I was given the Village Staff rank.

5: When were you appointed a moderator? What was your reaction?

I was appointed sometime in late January. 23rd, I believe, 2006. So I'm still a bit new. I had gotten a PM from the big man himself, I thought it might have just been about something else. However, it was a mod invitation letter. I was quite excited, to say the least. I had almost given up, and I was planning to leave pretty soon too. It's great, really. And anyone with a rough past still has a chance to be a moderator, take it from someone who went through that.

6: Have you broken any rules that would have lead to warnings?

Several. My first warning came because I told people I would pay 130,000gp for a signature, then I took it down to 90,000. Then I completely ignored the topic, so I got a warning for that. I suppose I deserved it, I made everyone work hard on those fancy signatures, only to turn my back. Jbo88rams is the one who granted me the warning. He was an Asst. Forum Moderator back then. I also got several warnings for flaming and flame baiting. Most of them from Chatmasta.

7: How often do you visit RuneVillage?

I come to RV probably 30 minutes a day. Which is a pretty drastic decrease. I have just had so much work to do in school, projects and all. I'll be more active during summer, however. I've noticed I'm only making about 4 or 5 posts a day. I hope to become more active with large projects in RuneVillage. I'll be trying to help more around with the databases too. Also, I'm planning something else, which I choose not to talk about now, I hope you understand, Jack. It may or may not happen. But if it does, you'll know.

8: Have you ever thought of leaving RuneVillage?

As I mentioned earlier, I was about to before I was promoted to a forum moderator. All the other good fellas have left, some have come back though. But now that I'm a moderator, I'll be staying here for a long time.

9: Do you visit the chatroom often?

Yes, I started visiting very often lately. I find it's a much easier way to make friends rather than on the forums, because you are talking to people presently, and it's really fun. You should check it out sometime Jack, you'll love it.

10: Lastly, what do you think of RuneVillage in general?

I like RuneVillage. I like seeing my RV friends here, I like making friends here. I hope to soon begin to help RuneVillage during the summer, with projects and events. We've got a nice leader too, someone who understands things easily.
