Interview with Tweedy

Ultima Cow: How did you find out about RV?

Tweedy: Well it was back in 2003, my real life Deneagle got us all into RuneScape, and after a while I noticed that he was often on this website called "RuneVillage". Naturally me and a few other friends became curious, so we checked out the site and joined up practically the same day.

Ultima Cow: What was your first impression of the Village?

Tweedy: I honestly cannot remember too well... however I don't think I was too interested at first, RuneScape was much more important to me at the time. I wasn't a very active poster until early 2005, I needed something to do during school time, other than the work of course!

Ultima Cow: What were your early active days like?

Tweedy: I mainly frequented the RuneScape category and Things You'd Like To See In RuneScape; I was a typical new member in that respect, just sticking around forums relating to RuneScape. However gradually I broadened the forums I visited until I got to the stage where I am now, at least glancing at just about every forum a day.
As for the people I met, I didn't meet any RuneVillagers until sometime in 2005 (I forget when) when I made a topic asking for RV friends, I added about 30-40 people thanks to that...people like Jinxy, Matt258, Faz, The D Knight, Boozeman, Cpuk and so on.

Ultima Cow: What was your reaction when you were made a mod?

Tweedy: For forum - When I first got the PM, I was really excited, I had been wondering when new mods were coming out because it had been over a year since the last moddings and there had of course been plenty of rumours floating around.
For Chat - Again it had been a quite well-known secret that new Chat mods were coming out in the relatively near future; and I thought I was in with a good chance - but knowing that I *actually* was going to be one, courtesy of the excellent picture by Spelda, was a great feeling. I was a bit surprised by how quickly I was made one however, I was made a Chat mod the day after I got the PM, in comparison to closer to a week for forum mod
Ultima Cow: Do you have any hobbies?

Tweedy: Well...I play squash, tennis and soccer (football for all you Europeans). Other than that, I read a lot of books and play the occasional computer game; but I don't have any hobbies like collecting stamps or anything...perhaps you could say my hobby is RuneVillage =P
