An Interview with the April Fool

My penguins and me started off last month on a search for the biggest fool in the world. It took us the entire month of March to find him, but we did. The fool was hidden under rose bushes getting ready to trick an old lady into selling her receipt to him for a million dollars. Luckily we got home before the little old lady did and saved her. He was quite good at his sale too. Well enough about me finding him... To the interview;

Since: Hello Mr. Fool

Fool: Fool fool fool.. That’s all you ever call me. . Just cause I wear a big purple jester’s hat doesn’t mean I’m a fool I have a name so help you know... Its Lenny okay... Lenny Swart.

Since: Alright Lenny it is... So Lenny why did you become the April fool?

Lenny: Well I was born on April first, and I was a goofy child always causing havoc, and eventually it just stuck, and days later I got my own day. My birthday was mad a holiday. To tell you the truth it was to warn people about me, but today we all celebrate it.

Since: To warn us?

Lenny: Yeah... I sued to pull the biggest tricks on my birthday... Leaning the tower of pizza, painting the Mona Lisa purple, and dying the Easter bunny pink. All great schemes of mine.

Since: I see... So have you ever not been a comic?

Lenny: Was born a comic and still am today.

Since: All right... Time for this or that section.

Lenny: Lay it on me... Lay it on me...

Since: Pink or Purple?

Lenny: Purple

Since: Pepsi or coke?

Lenny: Hurricane... All the sodas

Since: Grapes or oranges?

Lenny: Both of them smashed together to make a gronage

Since: Books or paper?

Lenny: Neither

Since: Lava or ice?

Lenny: Both on a blanket

Since: You do realize its this or that...

Lenny: Who cares... I’m thinking up pranks...

At this point Lenny gave up listening to me, and disappeared to prank Ronald the clown... So I guess we'll never know his ingenious scheme... Unless Ronald doesn’t show up on TV for awhile... Then maybe we'll figure it out... Well until next time it’s Since and his penguins signing off.
